General Terms and Conditions – Go Yaalah

 

1. General Terms of Payment and Rental

1.1. Age and Driver’s License

  • The primary driver must be at least 23 years old.
  • A valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years is required.

1.2. Required Documents

When picking up the vehicle, you must present the following:

  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A valid identification document (ID card or passport).
  • The credit card used for the booking, under your name.
  • A valid personal address and phone number.

1.3. Additional Drivers

  • An additional driver can be added to the rental agreement for an extra fee.
  • All drivers must be declared in advance and meet the same requirements (age, valid driver’s license).

 

2. Fuel and Vehicle Condition

2.1. Fuel

  • The vehicle is delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If not, refueling costs will apply.

2.2. Vehicle Condition

  • The vehicle is provided clean and in good mechanical condition.
  • If the vehicle is returned excessively dirty, additional cleaning fees may be charged.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Comply with the Highway Code and local driving regulations.
  • Any fines, tickets, parking fees, or impound costs incurred during the rental period are your responsibility.

 

4. Insurance and Coverage

4.1. Liability Insurance

  • All vehicles are insured for bodily injury and property damage caused to third parties.
  • This insurance complies with the Moroccan Insurance Code and provides unlimited coverage for third-party property damage.

4.2. Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.)

  • This optional insurance covers the driver and passengers for medical expenses, death, or disability.
  • It is available as an add-on for additional protection.

4.3. Roadside Assistance

  • You are entitled to 24/7 roadside assistance during your rental.
  • In case of breakdown or accident, our team will arrange towing, repair, or a replacement vehicle. Contact details for assistance are included in your rental documentation.

 

5. Exclusions from Insurance Coverage

The following cases are not covered by insurance and will remain the client’s responsibility:

  • Damages caused by driving on non-paved roads.
  • Fuel errors (e.g., using the wrong type of fuel).
  • Flat tires or tire damage.
  • Lost or broken keys.
  • Lost vehicle documentation.
  • Fines or impound fees due to traffic violations.
  • Damages caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Incidents during sports competitions or non-compliant vehicle use.

 

6. Rental Extension

  • To extend your rental, contact the agency before the contract’s end date.
  • Extensions must be approved and prepaid.
  • Unauthorized use of the vehicle beyond the agreed period may result in legal action.

 

7. Practical Advice for a Successful Rental

7.1. Before the Rental

  • Review the insurance terms and exclusions before signing the contract.
  • Inspect the vehicle at pickup and report any damage to the Go Yaalah team immediately.

7.2. During the Rental

  • Follow the driving rules and Highway Code.
  • Park the vehicle in secure locations to avoid theft or damage.
  • Drive cautiously, especially on rural or non-paved roads.

7.3. Returning the Vehicle

  • Return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and in a clean condition.
  • Report any damage or issues to the team before returning the keys.

 

8. Special Notes and Conditions

  • The deposit amount is equivalent to the deductible in case of damage or theft.
  • The client agrees to rent the vehicle under their sole responsibility and is not authorized to lend it to third parties.
  • Any defects or incidents must be reported immediately to the agency.
  • Failure to comply with driving rules or contract terms in the event of an accident may result in insurance claims being denied.
